Trusts
For some families, a trust can be an important part of an estate plan. Trusts can provide a way to manage and protect assets, provide for loved ones, help avoid probate for assets properly placed in the trust, and establish how and when assets are distributed. Not every person or family needs a trust, and I believe you should understand both the benefits and the responsibilities before deciding whether one is right for you. I work with clients to determine whether a trust makes sense for their particular circumstances and to create an estate plan that accomplishes their goals.
